Charged with unlawfully landing in New Zealand, being prohibited immigrants, and with stowing away on *he steamer Kaiwarra at Sydney on August 13, James Charles Waters, a hairdresser, aged 25, and Robert Grainger, a seaman, aged 45, appeared before Mr E. Luxford, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court to-day. Both pleaded guilty. Mr A. Paul, for the Customs Department, said that the two were stowaways on the Kaiwarra which arri in port this morning. Waters was : Australian by birth, and Grainger *. s an Englishman.
