CAVE
CONCERT AND DANCE Last Thursday a very pleasant evening’s entertainment was given by members of the Timaru Ladies’ Glee Club in aid of the local hall fund. The large number present was very appreciative of the items presented. After the singing of the National Anthem items were given by the following: Members of the Glee Club, pianoforte solos, Mrs Mangos; songs, Miss Betty Holdgate; Mrs Mclnnes, Mrs Rule, and Miss Barbara Mclnnes; pianoforte duets, Misses Hay and Bowler. Much enjoyed were the amusing sketches given by Miss Barbara Mclnnes, and the play reading by members of the Glee Club. Mr A. E. Kerr thanked the members of the club for coming out and presenting such an enjoyable entertainment. Supper was followed by dancing.
