Seas (New Zealand waters)—Rough about Foveaux Strait and rather rough to rough north of Farewell Spit and south of East Cape, elsewhere moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea.—Moderate to strong southerly winds and rather rough seas, but wind and sea soon moderating.
