GLEN-ITI POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS

To the Editor of “ The Timaru Herald ” Sir, —1 understand a petition is being circulated in Gleniti asking the Honourable the Postmaster-General to inaugurate a postal delivery similar to what Is In vogue in the borough. If such a change took place, I would like if one of the sponsors responsible would answer through the medium of your valuable columns the following: 1: Would the Glen-ltl Post Office be then closed? 2: Would the public telephone be then closed? 3: Where would the residents of Claremont and Hadlow Roads get their mail? Having known the requirements of the district for a great many years, I think we are well catered for with the mail coming up to the Post Office twice daily.—l am, etc., MORE LIGHT. Glen-iti, February 11.
