PORT OF TIMARU The Wainui arrived from Oamaru last evening to load for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne, and sailed later for Lyttelton. The Storm, which arrived on Tuesday night, loaded yesterday for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui before proceeding to Lyttelton. H.M.S. Wakakura arrived from Oamaru and is at No. 3 wharf. NOTES The Holmdale is listed to arrive from Oamaru this evening to pick up Wellington, Picton and Wanganui cargo. She should sail later to-night for Lyttelton. The Waikouaiti is expected to arrive from Dunedin to-day. She is to discharge coal and general Australian cargo before departing for Lyttelton. The Holmglen should be here from Dunedin on Saturday. She is to lift Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato shipments here. The Gale Is due from the South on Saturday to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. She should get away for Lyttelton that night. Monowai’s Transhipments The Monowai, which arrived at Wellington on Monday from Sydney, brought transhipments ex Craigend, Jervis Bay, Panama, Largs Bay, Mareeba, Taiping, Talune, Duntroon, Dumosa, Otranto, Mosel, Barrabool, and Narkunda. Wanganella Resuming The Huddart Parker motor-liner Wanganella, which has been laid up at Sydney since the end of last November owing to the shipping strike, will resume running this week. She is to leave Sydney to-day for Wellington, is due there next Monday morning, and will leave again later the same day on a cruise to Milford Sound. The vessel is due back at Wellington on February 14, and will leave again later the same day for Sydney and Melbourne. Fordsdale Arrives The Shaw, Savill steamer Fordsdale arrived at Wellington on Monday in ballast from London. She will leave on Friday to begin Homeward loading at New Plymouth.
