LODGE MEETINGS
The fortnightly meeting of Court Southern Cross, No. 3123, A.0.F., was held on Tuesday, Bro. L. Smith, C.R., presiding over a large attendance of members. Bros. Donaldson Swain P.C.R., and Gardiner, P.C.R., were appointed to attend the annual meeting of the U.F.S. Council. One candidate was initiated into the Order, Bro. Baker, P.D.C.R. giving the charge. Committees were appointed for the ensuing twelve months as follows: Finance, Bros. C. Lund, F. H. Davey, D. Moyes, R. J. Jones, T. C. Baker, J. Rennie W. Shelker. Auditors: Bros. F. Davey and A. J. Jones. Delegates .o U.F.S. Dispensary Board: Bros. W. Shelker, J. Gllddon and W. Angus. Delegates to U.F.S. Council: Bros. G. Mcßride, J. Gardiner and A. J. Jones. Investigation Committee: Bros T. c. Baker, J. W. Wakefield, H. W. Parfoot. Delegates to S.C. District: Bros. A. J. Jones, J. Gardiner, T. C. Baker. Improvement Committee: Bros. G. McBride, D. Moyees, J. Swain, W. Guthrie and J. Gardiner. A donation of £2/2/- was made to the contest fund of the Municipal Band. Two candidates were proposed for membership and approved.
