NEW ZEALANDER RETURNS HOME By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON. February 4. Penniless in Sydney after an unsuccessful trip from New Zealand in search of employment. Frederick Nathaniel Pilcher, aged 29, a butcher, stowed away in the Monowai which arrived here from Sydney yesterday afternoon. In the Magistrate’s Court to-day, lie was charged with secreting himself in the Monowai without authority. He pleaded guilty and was fined £7/10/-.
