INDUSTRIAL DISPUTE
AGREEMENT REACHED By Teleeranh—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, January 25. Agreement was reached in the industrial dispute of the biscuit and confectionery workers, heard before the Conciliation Council. For the first time in history this Industry is to have a Dominion award, which will be before the Arbitration Court for ratification early in February. The award, which is for a term of six months, provides for increases In wages approximating 74 per cent, in the case of adult workers.
