People in the back country districts are evidently getting befogged with all the political propaganda and efforts to make black white. Some are even forgetting the days of the week, reports a Wanganui journal. An incident came under attention last week. A Wanganui visitor from the country, thinking that the show was being continued that day, went over to the Showgrounds. At the gate he was asked if he wanted to see the show and replied “Yes,” and was informed that the admission was 2/-, and he duly paid up and entered the grounds. After going about a dozen yards the visitor discovered that the show had concluded the previous day, and that everybody was making readiness for departing.
