The King of the Belgians, who is now in a clinic, has been receiving dental treatment from Sir Harold for some years. Sir Harold Gillies, F.R.C.S., who Is a New Zealander, has achieved considerable fame as a plastic surgeon. He was born in Dunedin in 1882, but since attending Cambridge University, he has lived in England. He occupies the position of plastic surgeon to many leading English hospitals and similar institutions and has had many notable successes in operations involving the restoration of facial features.
