NEARING OBJECTIVE
HEALTH STAMP CAMPAIGN By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, December 4. The Health Stamp Campaign objective of £IO,OOO is now almost within £3OOO of the mark. The DirectorGeneral of the Post Office (Mr McNamara), in his latest statement, shows that the total has reached £6994/8/-. The relative achievements in the various postal districts are:— £ s. d.
The total of £6694/8/- is made up of health stamps £3297/9/9, sale of envelopes £298/6/4, and donations £3398 11/11. When the campaign opened the weekly receipts were averaging £IOOO, and the final effort in the favourable atmosphere of Christmastide should enable the campaign workers throughout the Dominion to celebrate complete success by the end of the year.
