GERALDINE STOCK SALE MARKET FIRM Moderate entries were forward for the Geraldine Stock Sale, which was held yesterday at Geraldine Saleyards. About 15 pens of good quality fat sheep were forward, the sale being keen and every bit as good as Monday’s market at Pleasant Point. Store sheep sold freely and a poor yarding of pigs sold at values not quite up to late rates. Sales were: Fat cows, £2/2/6 and £5/17/6; springing hri f ers to £2/17/6; springing cows, 30/-; fat ewes in wool, 18/7, 20/4, 22/4, 23/4, 26/10, 28/10; fat ewes (shorn), 14/7, 17/10, 18/6, 22 10; 2-tooth wethers passed at 21/9; 2-tooth wethers sold at 16/1 and 17/-; ewes and lambs, 13/-, and passed 15/2; weaner pigs, 10/- to 14/6; slips, 15/- fo 20/-.
