POPULARITY OF PONY RACING IN ENGLAND. —An aerial view of Northolt Park, near Harrow, where crowds witness pony racing. A feature of Northolt is the well-designed stands, which were greatly enlarged this year, and the up-to-date totalisator and electric timing apparatus. Of comparatively recent origin, more and more well known racing people are becoming owners under National Pony Turf Club rules, and racing goes on continuously twice a week during the season, either at Northolt Park or at Portsmouth.
