DAME FASHION’S DECREES. —On left, an evening gown in which the sumptuousness of the fabric demands a studied restraint in the cut of the dress. Large pink roses are scattered on the surface of a rich grey brocade. The tulle cape, which veils the wearer so elusively, introduces an unexpected note of brown into the ensemble. On right, a spring coat from Messrs. Debenham and Freebody, London, made in one of the wide range of flecked tweeds now so fashionable. Stitching trims the large storm coliar and cuffs.
