LONDON MANAGER OF DAIRY BOARD By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, November 8. At its meeting yesterday, the Dairy Board paid its official farewell to its London manager, Mr H. E. Davis, who will leave the Dominion shortly. The deputy chairman, Mr C. P. Agar, who presided, said the Board was very pleased to have had Mr Davis with it, and members looked forward to future cohtaot with him. The Board’s thanks were due to him for the very clear exposition he had given of the group marketing proposals, and solidarity of the industry was in no small measure due to the frank way in which Mr Davis had handled the problem. “You go back to London to resume your duties with the complete condence of every member of the Board,” added Mr Agar. In reply, Mr Davis said he was not in any way afraid of the results of the group marketing proposals. He had had a very happy reception by the dairy industry and had greatly appreciated the opportunities which had been afforded him of outlining the position of the industry in various districts. He assured the Board that its London staff would give loyal support in the development of the new scheme.
