CYCLIST’S DEATH
CRASHED INTO LORRY By Telegraph—Press Association MASTERTON, November 8. The extremely dangerous practice of cyclists in towing behind motor vehicles was commented on by the Coroner, Mr E. G. Eton, at the inquest to-day concerning the death of Basil Raymond Lang, aged 14, who died in the Masterton hospital last night from injuries received when he was struck by a motor lorry near Clareville. The victim suddenly veered out from behind a petrol waggon on which he had been hanging and crashed head on into a laden transport lorry coming in the other direction. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
