GREASY MERINO REACHES NEW HIGH LEVEL United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 7, 10.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, November 7. At the wool sales 12,399 bales were offered and 11,598 were sold, also 1512 privately. The Continent, Yorkshire and Japan provided very strong competition, resulting in a new Sydney record of 251 d per lb. for greasy Merino.
