PORT OF TIMARU Two vessels worked at Timaru on Saturday. The Foxton, which arrived on Friday evening, loaded for Wellington and Wanganui and the Holmglen, which called from Dunedin, took Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato shipments. She is ,due from Dunedin and should get away for Lyttelton that night.

The Karu should be here on Wednesday to lift Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth cargo. She is due from Oamaru and is set down to sail for Lyttelton the same evening. The Parera is expected to arrive from Oamaru on Wednesday. After loading, for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato she is to proceed to Lyttelton. The Holmdale, on the Wellington, Picton and Wanganui run, is scheduled to call at Timaru on Wednesday to load for those ports. The Wainui is to take Wellington, Napier and Gisborne cargo at Timaru on Wednesday. She is expected from Oamaru and is down to sail for Lyttelton later in the day. Mahana to Load The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mahana is due at New Plymouth from Australia on November 20 to load in NeW Zealand. Her other loading ports are Wanganui, Auckland, Oisborne and Napier. She is scheduled to load at Auckland on November 29 and to sail from Napier for London, via Montevideo, on December 14. Rotorua’s Loading Ports The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rotorua is due at Wellington from London, Via Suva, on November 15 to land passengers and mail, the cargo being for Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Bluff. For her homeward voyage the vessel will load at Port Chalmers, Bluff, Wellington, Auckland and Napier. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on December 7, and to sail from Napier for London on December 14. The Tainui The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tainui is due at Wellington from London on November 11 with cargo for Wellington and Auckland. After discharge she will load at Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. She is scheduled to clear Auckland finally for Southampton and London, via Panama, on December 7, being due at London on January 14. The Waipawa The Shaw, Savill and Albion motorship Waipawa, which is en route from London to New Zealand, will unload at Port Chalmers, Lyttelton and Nelson. Afterwards she will load for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain at Nelson, New Plymouth, Napier, Gisborne, Auckland and Wellington.
