BALL AT SOUTHBURN
A most enjoyable evening was spent in the Southburn School when the Basketball Club held a successful dance. The Monte Carlo was won by Miss M. Caird and Mr Robt. Parry and the first-up dance by Miss Ella Kinross and Mr G. Thompson, Extras were played by Misses M. Evans and M. Bennett. Mr G. Hoare was M.C. Those present Included: Mr and Mrs C. Ward, Mr and Mrs Turner, Mrs Richards, Misses Joyce Wilkins, Alma Stowell, Ella Kinross, Ivy Stowell. Margaret Kinross, Jean Rodgers, Dorothy Hurst, Agnes Rodgers, E. Harte, M.
