MILITARY BALL
One of the most successful dances held in Pleasant Point took place on Thursday last under the auspices of No. 2 Troop. C Squadron, C.Y.C. The decorations which were on a lavish scale consisted of a Union Jack hung from the ceiling, and streamers of red, white and blue were suspended to the cornices of the room. The walls were decorated with Union Jacks and greenery. The supper tables held baskets and vases of spring flowers. Mr Crawford acted as M.C. The winners of the Monte Carlo waltzes were Miss Kidd and Mr Macaulay, Miss Clelland and Mr Phillips.
