MILK ROUNDSMEN
OPPOSITION TO EARLY START By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, July 19. Opposition to a 2 a.m. start for milk roundsmen, the advocacy of a six day week and approval of the municipal control of milk sales were expressed by a deputation from the Auckland Dairy Employees Union which waited on the Metropolitan Milk Council. It was stated that the union was unanimous in favour of the municipalisation of the milk supply. If the Milk Council or some other board took over sales on the block delivery system the union would be satisfied.
