TO-MORROW’S SERVICES The services in St. Mary’s parish will be as follows: Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Mary's, St. John's and St. Peter’s at 8 a.m.„ at St. Michael's at 9.30 a.m. and at St. Mary’s at 11 a.m. There will be Matins at St. John’s at 11 a.m. and evensong at St. Mary’s, St. John's, St. Peter’s and All Saints at 6.30 p.m. At the Bank Street Church, the Rev. J. D. McArthur will take both services. Mr Claude Goulding will give a solo at the evening service. Church anniversary services will be celebrated at the Baptist Church. The Rev. J. T. Crozier will conduct the services. In the evening a flugel horn solo will be given by Mr G. Lowry. The preacher at St, Paul’s Highfield in the morning will be Rev. J. M. Bates. The subject in the evening when the preacher will be Rev. J. Baird, is "The Sabbath Made for Man.” At the services in the Congregational Church, North Street, the Rev. J. Milburn Stewart will speak on “The Supreme Virtue,” and “Perambulation or Pilgrimage.” The services at Chalmers Presbyterian Church will be conducted by the Rev. Llywelyn Williams. His subjects will be “Why Worship,” and “Is Rom. 8.28 Fact of Fancy.” “Life” is the subject of the lessonsermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, to-morrow. The golden text is: “How excellent is Thy loving kindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Thy wings. . . . And Thou shalt make them drink of the river of Thy pleasures. For with Thee is the fountain of life.” (Ps. 36:7-9.) Amongthe citations which comprise the lesson sermon are the following: “And He said unto His disciples, Therefore I say unto you, take no thought of your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.” (Luke 12:22,23). “The fact is, * food does not affect the absolute life of man, and this becomes self-evident, when we learn that God is our Life.” (“Science and Health with Key to the ■ Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy.) The Rev. J. Baird will conduct the morning service at Trinity Presby- , terian Church. In the evening the preacher will be the Rev. J. M. Bates.
