VISIT OF INDIAN HOCKEY TEAM. —Members of the Indian hockey team, who in the opening match of their tour of New Zealand outclassed the Dannevirke team, winning by 21 goals to nil. This photograph was taken at the Wellington War Memorial, where the visitors paid tribute to the memory of New Zealand’s fallen soldiers. They are shown surrounding Mrs Doctor, wife of the manager of the team, who placed a wreath on the memorial. The Indians will play a match against South Canterbury early in June.
