In the presence of three handcuffed, tense-faced suspected accomplices in King Alexander’s assassination, their counsel, the Public Prosecutor and’the Magistrate, a film of the crime, revealing hitherto unshown details, was projected in the law courts, at first at normal speed and then at slow motion to permit of the faces being examined. The film, however, caught fire and was destroyed before the vital incidents were reached, including the allegation that one of the suspects, Kraljmio, was standing by the assassin’s side. It was the only copy of the film available in France, but another is being obtained from abroad.
