THE KING’S THANKS
CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, May 13. Walter Lindrum, billiards champion, will leave for Christchurch to-night. Recently he sent a congratulatory message to his Majesty, before whom he had given an exhibition at Buckingham Palace, and this morning he received an acknowledgment conveying the King’s thanks for his kind and loyal greetings. Lindrum said that his Majesty is a very good billiards player.
