ALLEGED NUISANCE To the Editor of “ The Timaru Herald " Sir, —May I be permitted to draw attention of the Geraldine public, through the medium of your paper, to a very grave danger to the public health and especially to the health of schoolchildren who use the Wilson Street bridge. For the last few years, there has been a very evil smelling drain close to the bridge, and nothing has apparently been done to rectify the matter. As so many schoolchildren have to pass the locality, it is quite time the health authorities took the matter in hand.—l am, etc., SAFETY FIRST. Geraldine, May 11.
