STOCK EMBARGO
TARANAKI’S ATTITUDE By Telegraph—Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, May 11. The North Taranaki executive of the Farmers’ Union to-day passed a resolution in favour of lifting the embargo on the importation of livestock, withholding its approval, however, until an assurance is given by the Government that machinery exists for coping with an outbreak of the disease should such occur.
