The hurdle jockey, A. T. Pearce, secured a renewal of his jockey's license. The Australian Jockey Club’s stewards on January 31 concluded an inquiry Into the conduct of certain jockeys in a hurdle race at Randwick. They disqualified a jockey, Frederick Guy for life and suspended the jockeys G. Sholl and A. T. Pearce, during the stewards’ pleasure.
