MILFORD ROAD
PROGRESS OF CONSTRUCTION By Telegraph—Press Association INVERCARGILL, May 10. It is now possible to motor on the Te Anau-Milford road as far as Falls Creek, and construction work on the next two miles Is well advanced. Tenders for the construction of a tunnel through Homer Saddle have now closed. It Is expected that work on the tunnel will commence in the spring.
