NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL By TeJegraDh—Press Association WELLINGTON, May 7. Rumours concerning the appointment of a manager of the New Zealand harrier team for Australia this year were denied at a meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Atheltic Association to-night. Acceptance of the proposed team has not vet been received from Australia, and nothing has been decided about a manager.
The resignation of the secretary, Mr L. A. Tracy, was accepted with regret.
