GOLF
AUTUMN FOURSOMES By Telegraph Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, May 2. The final of the New Zealand Ladies’ Golf Union’s autumn foursomes was played in showery weather at the Ngamotu links. Mrs Russell Grace and Mrs Young (Wanganui) defeated Misses Blyth and Currie (Wanganui) 5 and 3. The handicaps of the pairs were equal. A feature of the match was the fine play of Mrs Grace. The game would have been better contested had Misses Blythe and Currie been more consistent on the greens.
