round the world cruise FAILS United Press Association— By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright CALCUTTA, April 29. Tragedy ended the adventures of Ernest Gruenfeld and W. Temmel, when a small boat, in which they were sailing round the world, sank during a storm in the Bay of Bengal. Temmel was drowned, but Gruenfeld swam four miles to Sandwipi Island, where he was picked up by a passing steamer. Gruenfeld sailed from Vienna in 1931. He nqw possesses only a shirt and a pair of borrowed shorts.
