BAG SNATCHED
MASKED CYCLIST’S CRIME By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, April 30. A young man on a bicycle snatched a woman’s handbag in Epsom Avenue about 10 o’clock last night. He rode off and has not been traced. Miss Helen Fraser, of Mt. Eden, who was on her way home, was opposite the Mt. Eden bov/ling green when her handbag was snatched from her hand. She made an exclamation, thinking for a moment that it was some young man playing a joke, but when she saw the cyclist pedalling fast down the street her surprise turned to dismay, and she called for help. It was all in vain. The handbag did not contain any money, but in it were the keys of a house. She believes the cyclist was masked.
