RECORD CREATED IN JUMPING EVENTS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received April 23, 1.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 22. . At the Royal Show to-day Miss Madge Keene, riding Domino, cleared a record height of 7ft. 4in. in the high jump event for women riders. Miss Vera Macmillan, riding Coal Dust in the same event, had a nasty fall and suffered a severe shaking. Canine Champions The New Zealand bred Cocker Spaniel, Renwick Gleam of Penscroft, owned by Major P. J. Thorn, won the cup for the best challenge bitch, all breeds. The imported wire-haired Fox Terrier,, exhibited by the New Zealand breeder, Mrs F. Wall, won the cup for the best reserve challenge dog. The cup for the best first prize dog, unbeaten by other than the challenge or reserve challenge winners, was won by the New Zealand bred Ryburn Reveller, owned by Mr G. Campbell.
