Mr and Mrs J. L. White, Hawarden, are guests at the Grosvenor. Miss D. Paterson, Invercargill, is at the Grosvenor. Mr and Mrs Griffith, Christchurch, are registered at the Grand. Mr and Mrs J. A. Findlay, Mosgiel, are staying at the Dominion. Mrs J. Nicol, Sydney, is a guest at the Dominion. Mr and Mrs J. Johnston, Dunedin, are visiting Timaru, and are staying at the Dominion. Mr and Mrs W. J. Cresswell, Mayfield, are staying at The Bungalow. Wai-iti Road. Miss Muriel Ford, Auckland, who is the guest of her sister, Mrs L. E. Finch, Park Lane, will return north to-day. Mrs H. Pickering, who has been the guest of Mrs S, G. Robinson, Evans Street, has returned to Christchurch. Miss H. L. Buck who has been visiting friends in Otago and Southland, has returned to Temuka. Miss Neill and Miss Angus, who have been staying at Bourndale House, Hunter, have returned to Dunedin. Guests at the Balmoral include — Miss J. I. Hetherington and Mr E. Caradus' (Wellington) and Mr J. P. Wilson (Christchurch). Mrs Davison, Lowry Peaks, Culverden, who has been spending some weeks with Mrs O. H. Porritt, Pareora Cottage, LeCren’s Terrace, will return home to-day. Mrs Bernard Tripp, "Orielton,” has returned from a visit to Christchurch, Mr and Mrs Huyshe Elliot, Roxborough, who were her guests, returned home yesterday. Mrs E. M. Arthur, Trafalgar Street, has returned from a visit to Mrs A. E. Kerr. “Belmont,” Cave. Miss Edith Arthur, who is the guest of Mrs Paterson, Christchurch, is expected home to-day. Miss Maureen Raymond, Bidwill Street, and Miss Cora Wilding, Christchurch, returned to Timaru on Saturday from a trip to the Eglinton Valley. Miss Wilding will return to Christchurch to-day. Miss M. Bain, Whangarei, Miss Dunbar, Oamaru, and Mrs Christian, Palmerston North, w'ill arrive this week to attend the annual conference of the New Zealand Libraries’ Association.

Mrs W. N. Bond and Miss Mary Bond, “Dunrobin,” Southland, who are the guests of Mrs P. A. Elworthy, “Gordon's Valley,” will leave tomorrow for Christchurch. Miss Mary Bond will leave on Wednesday by the Tamaroa for England, where she will join her sister, Miss Nancy Bond.
