LEGACY OF £SOOO By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, March 22. The will of Mr A. D. Crawford, of Miramar, provides a legacy of £SOOO to Victoria College, of which £2OOO is for the benefit of the College Library, and £3OOO to be known as “The Alexander Crawford Scholarship Fund,” making provision for two scholarships, one in science and the other in such other branch of college education as the Council may determine. The scholarships are to be awarded to bona fide residents of Wellington, and are available to either sex.
