BOUND FOR NEW GUINEA
AMERICAN EXPLORATION SANCTIONED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received February 7, 8.25 p.m.) NEW YORK, February 6. An associate of Mr George M. Dyott, the well known explorer, Mr Henry Williams, informed the Australian Press Association to-night that Mr Dyott, who is now in England, has received official permission from the Australian Government to make an extensive expedition in New Guinea, and has been offered every facility. “We shall proceed to Sydney and Canberra and hope at that time also to make arrangements for a film of some aboriginal tribes in Australia, after our work in New Guinea is completed,” said Mr Williams.
