CHARITABLE BEQUESTS
WILL OF MRS L. J. McLEAN Several public bequests are made under the will of Lucy Jane McLean, widow, of Timaru, who died on February 2. The value of the estate is sworn for probate at £15,000. The testatrix directs the executor to set aside the sum of £2500, which is to be invested, and the income paid to her sister during her life. Upon her death the capital sum is to be divided among the following organisations:— £SOO to the Anglican Clergy Aged Pension Fund. £SOO to the Presbyterian Church Property Trustees, to be applied in support of aged and infirm ministers. £2OO to the Salvation Army. £2OO to the Presbyterian Foreign Missions. £2OO to the Church of England Maori Mission. £3OO to the. Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Timaru. £3OO to St. Saviour’s Boys’ Orphanage, Timaru. £3OO to the Church of England Melanesian Mission. Mr F. J. Rolleston is the sole executor.
