LABOUR LEADER REPLIES
PROGRAMME OF PROMISES OUTLINED United Press Association —By Electrle Telegraph—Copyright (Received February 6, midnight.) MELBOURNE, February 6. The Leader of the Labour Party (Mr Tunnecliffe), in a policy speech tonight promised the abolition of the dole, and full-time employment at the basic wage for all citizens willing to work. Labour would also give attention to slum abolition, unification of railway gauges, the restoration of Public Service salaries, the provision of a permanent solution of unemployment, and the restoration to the Crown of the sole right of creation and issue of financial credit.
