Won by five lengths, a length between second and third. Time, lmin. 253 sec. FLYING HANDICAP 61 furlongs Second Division. Sir John, 8.7 (McCarten) 1 Springfern, 8.5 (Laycock) 2 Lady Baeda, 7.2 (McEvedy) 3 Ten started, including Norman Conquest, which was fourth. Won by a length, same distance between second and third. Time, lmin. 20!sec. Antique was unplaced in the second division of the Flying Handicap. Lavington was unplaced in the Rosebery Handicap. After Money was third in the first division of the Daceville Welter Mile.
