MILFORD WINS HANDICAP By Telegraph—Press Association GORE, February 6. The Tapanui Racing Club’s annual meeting was held to-day in fine weather. The totalisator investments were £3731, against £3539 last year. Euge, a fancied candidate for the Stewards' Handicap, dropped dead at the barrier. Results:— TRIAL STAKES, Of 50 sovs; 6 furlongs. Won by a neck, a length between second and third. Time —2min 8 4-ssec. Venite was recalled to the birdcage and did not start on account of cutting a leg in a false start.
