Results:— Open Championship Mrs Palmer (Christchurch) beat Mrs Christopher (Patea), 26-7, 26-2. Ladies’ Championship First Life. First Round Mrs Quin (Invercargill) beat Mrs Horn, 26-19. First Life. Second Round Mrs Robertson beat Mrs Cole, 26-18. Mrs J. T. Wilson beat Mrs Barnes, 26-19. Miss Bremner beat Mrs Halliday, 26-19. Mrs Quin beat Miss Mee, 26-10. Mrs Christopher beat Mrs J. Wilson, 26-17. Mrs McLeod beat Mrs Kirk, 26-23. Mrs Telfer beat Mrs Horn, 26-19. Second Life. Second Round Mrs Telfer beat Mrs Robertson, 26-17. Mrs Quin beat Miss Mee, 26-13. Mrs Metcalf beat Mrs Cole, 26-23. Mrs McLeod beat Mrs Horn, 26-19. Mr J. T. Wilson beat Mrs J. Wilson, 26-13. Miss Bremner (Temuka) beat Mrs Buckler, 26-10. Mrs Metcalf beat Mrs Barnes (Christchurch), 26-15. Championship Doubles Kirk and Mrs Kirk (Geraldine) beat Mrs Cole and Mr Penn (Christchurch), 26-14. Final Kirk and Mrs Kirk beat Mesdames Corbet and Buchler 26-22.
