TO-MORROW’S SERVICES The services In St. Mary’s parish will be as follows:—Holy Communion at St. Mary’s and St. John’s at 8 a.m. and at St. Michael’s at 9.30 a.m. Matins at St. Mary’s.and St. John’s at 11 a.m. Evensong will be at St. Mary’s, St. John’s and St. Peter’s at 6.30 p.m. and at All Saints’ at 7 p.m. At Chalmers Presbyterian Church the Rev. Llywelyn Williams will preach at 11 a.m. on “A Gospel for the New Year” and at 6.30 p.m. on “Pious Yet Pagan.” The solo “The Hour of Peace” (Dickson) will be sung at the evening service by Miss B. Sim. Rev. J. Russell- Grave will preach at both services at the Baptist Church. In the evening a solo will be given by Mrs H. G. Bolton, of Wellington. The services in the Congregational Church, North Street, will be conducted by the Rev. J. Milburn Stewart. The subjects of addresses are: “The Power of His Name” and “The Power of His Presence.” The services at Trinity Presbyterian Church will be conducted by Professor S. F. Hunter, D.D., of Dunedin. The Rev. J. D. McArthur will preach at the Banks Street Methodist Church at 11 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. (the Lord’s Supper will follow the evening service) ; Mr C. T. A. Hight at 11 a.m. and the Rev. W. Jenkin at 6.30 p.m. at Woodlands Street (the Lord’s Supper will follow the evening service); the Rev. W. Jenkin (H.C.) at 11 a.m. and Mr A. Watson at 6.30 p.m. at Kensington; Mr G. C. Ellis at 11 a.m. and Mr T. Simmons at 6.30 p.m. at Waimataitai. The country appointments will be as. per “Plan.”
