Here are some ideas taken from dresses ordered by film stars. A silk crepe frock with a ruffled collar and frilled cuffs. A ruffled collar on a white taffetas blouse worn with a neat navy blue suit. Hats of Spanish outline with pheasant quills across the back. Sashes are in fashion on the screen. A red velvet sash with streamers worn with a white crepe evening gown Another frock of black ribbed crepe with an orange tie sash. Shimmering black satin dinner gown with a silver cord knotted round the normal waistline. Gold cords are also popular.
