H.R.H. the Duke of Gloucester at the salute during the playing of the National Anthem at the reception tendered to him on the steps of Parliament House. After making a triumphal entry into Wellington, the Duke proceeded to the Parliament Buildings, where he was officially welcomed by the Governor-General (Lord Bledisloe) and the Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes), on behalf of the Government and people of the Dominion.
