Bob Olin, the New York light heavyweight, won the world’s championship from Mazie Rosenbloom in a fifteen round bout at Madison Square Garden. Each weighed 12st. 51b. Only 8000 people watched a spiritless contest, in which the contender took a wide margin of points, according to the judges, who unanimously gave him the decision.
