CRUSHED UNDER LIFT
YOUTH’S DEATH By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, November 16. William Kyle (14), was killed instantly this morning by being crushed between the floors in a goods lift where he was working. It is believed that somebody on the floor above pulled the cable to bring the lift up, and that the youth made an effort to scramble on top as the lift rose. He fell 20 feet to the basement.
