SEQUEL TO DROWNING
MOTHER CHARGED WITH MURDER United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright MELBOURNE. October 26. At the inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death of the McKenzie children, the Coroner committed Mrs McKenzie for trial on a charge of murder. (A cablegram received yesterday, said that three children were drowned at Cowes, Phillip Island. The mother of the children, Mrs Ena McKenzie (40), was rescued. A young man, Mr Bryant West, saw the woman struggling in the water near the end of the pier and dived in and brought her ashore.)
