STEAMER IN DANGER
SINKS FOLLOWING COLLISION United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received October 17, 7.50 p.m.) COPENHAGEN, October 17. The Swedish steamer C. B. Pedersen, from Halmstad. en route for Melbourne with a crew of 37, of whom 30 are youngsters, collided north of Skaw. Details are lacking, but radio reports state that the C. B. Pedersen is sinking and steamers have gone to the rescue.
