WASHDYKE CLUB The final official shoot of the Washdyke Miniature Rifle Club was held on Tuesday night when D. Doak won the Mayo Gold Button with 79 off the rifle. The club championship was also won by R. Moore with S. Stocker runner up. The following were the scores—D. Doak 79, R. Moore 78, D. Stocker 77, S. Stocker 77, H. Baker 76, W. Pearce 75, R. Chapman 75, W. R. Grant 74, B. Moore 74, J. Campbell 73, G. Baker 73, P. Applegarth 73, T. Kyle 73, I. Pearce 70, and Z. Philp 70. FAIR VIEW CLUB At the weekly shoot of the Fail-view Miniature Club A. Bailey proved the winner of Mr F. Shewan. senr’s., trophy, and Miss R. Dale won a trophy given by a well-wisher of the club. N. McVey won Mr J, Husband’s trophy for the highest score off the rifle. Results of the shooting were—N. McVey 79, W. Jackson 78, D. Rodman 78, J. Husband 76, H. O’Neill 76. F. Shewan 76, A. Bailey 76, W. Brown 75. C. McNamara 75, Miss R. Dale 75, E. Rqoney 75. Average 76.3.
